APCO gets SKOCH Award for digital initiative

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh State Handloom Weavers Co-operative Society Ltd. (APCO) has been honoured with the prestigious SKOCH Award–2025 in recognition of its outstanding digitization initiatives in the handloom sector. APCO has successfully implemented computersed billing systems and e-commerce platforms, which have significantly contributed to improved operational efficiency and enhanced sales performance. These initiatives have not only streamlined transactions but also expanded market access for handloom products. The award was presented in New Delhi on Saturday during the SKOCH Summit. On behalf of APCO, G Rekha Rani, Commissioner (Handlooms & Textiles) and Vice Chairperson & Managing Director, APCO, received this prestigious award. This recognition highlights APCO’s commitment towards digital transformation and aligns with the State Government’s vision for modernization and sustainable growth of the handloom sector. It also serves as an encouragement to further strengthen initiatives aimed at improving the livelihoods of weavers and promoting handloom products at a wider platform.
